Printing Industry Veteran Jim Jennings Joins IES as VP of Business Development

NASHVILLE – Ingram Express Services, a Nashville-based large-format print house with roots in fulfillment, kitting, warehousing and shipping, has hired industry veteran Jim Jennings as its vice president of business development.

Jennings has been in the printing industry since 1986 and was with McQuiddy Printing for 23 years, and Lithographics for 9 years. Jennings says his strengths are growing and managing customer service teams, the customer experience and the estimating side of the business.

“I try to focus on people and culture a lot,” Jennings said. “That’s the key to business today. If you are going to grow a community of clients and client partners, then your community has to be in order. It’s the most important aspect.”

IES owner Adam Ingram said he feels Jennings will be the perfect addition to the team with his background and detailed and organized business methods.

“As IES continues to grow, I wanted to make sure we stay focused on our current and future clients’ experience with us,” Ingram said. “Jim has a strong background in building customer relationships and he also possesses a strong skill in developing a strong team from within. I am proud to say we have a fantastic staff here at IES and adding Jim makes us even better.”

Jennings is a Middle Tennessee native who was born in Gallatin and spent most of his life in Nashville, with the exception of five years in the Navy. He has a graphic arts degree from Nashville Tech.

“There is such tremendous potential for IES,” Jennings said. “The biggest challenge I have is to free Adam up to focus more on strategy and new markets. I will get to know my teammates, our clients and their needs and see how we can serve them better.”

Jennings’ first day with IES was Monday, June 25.
