Reflections from 2020

When the clock struck midnight on January 1st, none of us predicted what would come in the new year. But, we’re all going to get through this together. To offer some goodness at the end of this stressful year, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what happened in 2020 at IES.

Project Spotlights

Amidst all the struggles this year brought, our team at IES was proud to work with incredible clients on some really fun projects.

Bridgestone Arena

Our team worked with the Bridgestone Arena creative team to create WWE Wrestling Champion Belts that would wrap 100” diameter columns. Using art from their creative team, we were able to provide solutions that added a realistic metallic look as well as adding dimension to the belts. Learn more about this retail design project!

Ford Ice Center

The Nashville Predators and Mid-South Ford Dealers worked with IES to transform a corner stairwell of the Ford Ice Center with display graphics. It was a tricky space with a diverse combination of surfaces that included a concrete floor, glass, drywall, and concrete block. The result? A big win for IES. Check out the finished display graphics!

Pilot Company

The Pilot Company needed a design for a retail book display that would be featured in 350 of their stores across the nation, promoting the new memoir from the founder of the company, Jim Haslam. IES used our 3D CAD design service to create a functional shelving unit with an attached header that was pre-assembled before being shipped. Check out the completed retail displays!

COVID Signage

Just like the rest of the world, our company had to adapt to the challenges brought on by COVID-19. We have always prided ourselves on supporting our clients, no matter the profession or industry. And this year, supporting businesses mattered more than ever before.

A way IES offered support this year was through custom signage and sneeze guard production for businesses. Signage ranged from floor graphics and to-go/takeout signs to window clings with hour availability and health and safety protocols. Turning around these projects as quickly as possible was our primary focus. Helping businesses effectively communicate with their customers while staying safe was (and continues to be) vital.

The Nashville community is still working through phases of re-opening in a safe manner. We continue to show our appreciation to all who have been working on the front lines during this pandemic.

Looking Ahead to 2021

No, we don’t have a crystal ball that will tell us what 2021 has in store. Although, it would be nice.

What we do know is IES will continue helping our clients with all their print, fabrication, and distribution needs. We’ve been in this industry for the last 25 years, and we’re looking forward to continuing the legacy of being a Nashville-owned business that local, national, and global clients can trust.
